You design and maintain the backbone of our digital experiences. You build systems that run fast, run clean, and never break. You integrate APIs, databases, CMS layers, automations, deployments, and strange bespoke tools that support SIGNA’s experiments. You collaborate with front-end, UX, and AI to bring ideas to life at the system level. You create the conditions that make everything else possible.
– Strong knowledge of backend languages (PHP, Node, Python — any, as long as you’re good) – Ability to structure databases and architectures with clarity and efficiency – Experience deploying to cloud environments (DigitalOcean, AWS, etc.) – Comfort with version control, CI/CD, and clean API practices – A deep appreciation for performance, security, and reliability – A portfolio or GitHub that shows you build understanding, not just code
