UX/UI ENGINEER (INTERFACE ARCHITECT)

Toronto / Remote / For designers who think in systems, not screens

SIGNA is looking for a UX/UI Engineer who can design and build with equal force. Someone who understands that an interface isn’t decoration — it’s a machine for emotion, behavior, and belief. If you’re the type who can sketch a layout in five seconds, code it in twenty minutes, and make it feel like a psychological experience… you’re one of us.

This role sits at the intersection of logic and chaos.
Perfect balance required.
Fear not included.

WHAT YOU DO HERE

You architect user journeys that feel intentional, inevitable, and cinematic.
You design layouts with brutal clarity.
You code with elegance, precision, and no bloat.
You collaborate with brand, dev, and content to build interfaces that command attention, not beg for it.

WHAT WE EXPECT

– Strong UX fundamentals (structure, flow, behavior psychology)
– Refined UI design (type, rhythm, spacing, hierarchy)
– Ability to code what you design (HTML, CSS, JS — bonus for PHP or frameworks)
– Obsession with performance, accessibility, and micro-interactions
– A portfolio of digital work that feels alive, not templated

WHO YOU ARE

You’ve always been the bridge between designers and developers.
You hate bloated layouts, ugly patterns, and unnecessary animations.
You take personally when a site loads slow.
You obsess over spacing, clarity, and invisible logic.
You want to work somewhere that actually respects your craft.

WHAT YOU GET

A seat in the studio where design and engineering are treated as the same discipline.
Projects that demand speed, intelligence, and restraint.
Freedom to build things your way — as long as they’re brilliant.
A founder who actually codes and understands your brain.

HOW TO APPLY

Show us digital work that proves you understand both sides — design and system.
